2'-Fucosyllactose (2'FL) has attracted wide attention due to its importance to infant health. As a professional and authorization platform, CD BioGlyco supplies sufficient inventory of 2'FL and a strong after-sales guarantee.
2'FL is not present in milk produced by all women and its concentration varies significantly during lactation and between mothers, but it is also the most abundant oligosaccharide in early lactation and remains stable during the first month postpartum. And it does not exist or exists in small amounts in cow milk and mouse milk, but it appears early in the mammalian phylogeny of monotremes. It exists in the milk of certain non-human animals from monotremes to some Old World primates, which provides evolutionary clues about its function and the ancient natural history of this molecule in mammals.
2'FL is one of the most studied oligosaccharides in terms of putative biological activities associated with its presence in human milk and the genetics of its expression in humans. This soluble glycan acts as one of the original prebiotics to support bacterial colonization of the human large intestine, which may be beneficial for breastfed infants. In addition, studies have found that 2'FL can directly inhibit lipopolysaccharide-mediated inflammation by weakening the induction of CD14, so that it has a certain immune regulation ability. And dietary 2'FL interferes with cognitive domains in rodents, improving learning and memory and aiding brain development. Infant formula containing 2'FL had similar beneficial effects as human milk. Therefore, 2'FL has attracted great interest as a nutraceutical ingredient and has potential pharmaceutical applications.

One of the most attractive features of 2'FL is its simplicity, which facilitates its synthesis through chemical, enzymatic, and biotechnological processes. Lactose-N-neotetraose and 2'FL, which are tested in clinical settings, are the first milk oligosaccharides to be reliably synthesized and tested for bioactivity in biological systems.
CD BioGlyco has accumulated a variety of 2'FL Production Solution. Biosynthetic pathways based on microbial fermentation or in vitro multi-enzyme catalysis to produce 2'FL are a more efficient and environmentally friendly method for mass production of 2'FL. Multi-enzyme catalysis provides some advantages, such as few or no side reactions, easy control and optimization of reaction conditions, and avoidance of limited diffusion across cell membranes.
We provide some optimization measures, including but not limited to the following:
CD BioGlyco provides a variety of ways to produce 2'FL, such as chemical methods, multi-enzyme cascade catalytic, and microbial differentiation. If you are interested in the services we provide, please feel free to contact us.
