A. nobilis free from external damage and disease are selected, cleaned, and executed. Obtain gill tissues, wash with distilled water, and set aside at -80°C. A safe and reliable source of raw materials. Our company pays great attention to every detail of the service, all the animals are collected back, first live water feeding for some time, to confirm that the indicators are normal, and then proceed to the next step of the operation.
The tissues are homogenized by immersion in Tris-HCl buffer and left overnight. Filtering and homogenizing, centrifugation, and collection of supernatant. We offer multiple passes through the column to collect the target lectin.
Equipped with a professional scientific team, CD BioGlyco provides comprehensive lectin analysis services. The services we provide include but are not limited to:

Paper Title: Structural characterization and antitumor and mitogenic activity of a lectin from the gill of bighead carp (Aristichthys nobilis)
Journal: Fish Physiology and Biochemistry
IF: 2.9
Published: 2012
Results: The characteristic vibration peak according to the spectrum further confirmed that A. nobilis lectin (GANL) is a glycoprotein. In contrast, the alkali-treated samples show a prominent absorbance peak at 240 nm, indicating the presence of β -β-elimination, indicating that the protein and carbohydrate parts in GANL are linked by O-linkage. The inhibition of GANL varied significantly among different tumor cell lines. HeLa, SKOV 3, and HepG 2 are inhibited by GANL. In contrast, GANL stimulated proliferation in the LoVo cell line.
