Properties
Description
Bovine lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of bovine LPS as low as 1 EU/L and its detection range is 25-800 EU/L.
Assay Principle
Bovine lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit is used to measure the level of bovine LPS in a sample. Initially, purified bovine LPS antibody is used to coat the wells of a microtiter plate, creating a solid-phase antibody. Next, LPS is added to the wells, and the antibody, which is labeled with HRP, binds to the LPS, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added, resulting in the substrate turning blue in the presence of the HRP enzyme. The reaction is then stopped by adding a sulfuric acid solution, and the color change is measured at a wavelength of 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. The concentration of LPS in the samples is determined by comparing the optical density (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve.
