Description
Carboxymethyl dextran (abbreviated CMDE) is a chemically modified derivative of dextran that has carboxymethyl groups attached, which greatly enhances its solubility and makes it useful in a variety of biological and clinical applications. Carboxymethyl dextran is functionalized with fluorescein groups. Fluorescein-conjugated carboxymethyl dextran is a high-quality product with a molecular weight of 100 kDa, a high purity level of ≥95%, and a degree of substitution of 1%.
