CD BioGlyco has been working on lipidomics analysis services for many years. We have developed systematic solutions to provide customers with comprehensive cytidine diphosphate (CDP)-glycerol analysis services. Welcome customers from all over the world to cooperate with us!
The structure of cytidine diphosphate consists of a glycerol backbone linked to a cytidine diphosphate group. The nucleotide intermediate, CDP-diacylglycerol, is used for the biosynthesis of non-nitrogenous glycerophospholipids in mammals. CDP-diacylglycerol is also used for the biosynthesis of phosphatidylinositol by reaction of the nucleotide lipid with free inositol. This reaction takes place predominantly in the endoplasmic reticulum.
CDP-diglyceride (CDP-DAG) is the most extensively investigated CDP-glycerols. CDP-DAG has involved in two major lipid synthetic pathways. In the first pathway, CDP-DAG is channeled towards phosphatidylinositol (PI), and in the second, towards phosphatidylglycerol (PG) and cardiolipin (CL). Phosphatidic acid (PA) is a potent signaling molecule, its presence modulates membrane properties and it is the central precursor for all glycerophospholipids, including phosphatidylcholine (PC), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), and phosphatidylserine (PS).

CD BioGlyco provides cytidine diphosphate-glycerol analysis by employing a mass spectrometry (MS)-based approach. Differential fragments from each subclass are used for high-yield structural analysis by a series of tandem MS analyses.
The combination of MS instruments and liquid chromatography (LC) can effectively separate target lipid molecules from complex samples. Through high-quality and accurate blood lipid level analysis, it is helpful to study the changes in CDP-DAG content under physiological and pathological conditions as well as biomarkers and related disease mechanisms.
After years of research, CD BioGlyco has developed a complete solution for cytidine diphosphate-glycerol analysis. We are very pleased to share our experience in phospholipids analysis. If you are interested in this service, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to meet your needs.
