Applications
D-Erythrose 4-phosphate (E4P) used as a substrate to identify, distinguish and characterize 2-keto-3-deoxy-6-phosphogalactonate (KDPGal) aldolase(s) and 3-deoxy-D-arabino-heptulosonate 7-phosphate (DAH7P) synthase(s).It can also be used as a substrate for identification, differentiation and characterization of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) involved in the development of pathogenic microorganisms and pathogenic factors.
