Properties
Description
AZD-7648, soluble in DMSO and insoluble in ethanol and water, impairs the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway of DNA repair, thereby sensitizing cancer cells to treatments that induce DNA double-strand breaks. It targets ATM, DNA-PKcs, and PI3Kγ.
Molecular Formula
C18H20N8O2
Targets
ATM: 17.93 μM; DNA-PKcs: 91.3 μM; PI3Kγ: 1.37 μM
Solubility
DMSO: 5 mg/mL (13.14 mM); Water: Insoluble; Ethanol: Insoluble
Identity
Confirmed by NMR/HPLC/MS.
Applications
AZD-7648 can be used to investigate its role as an inhibitor of DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) in cancer therapy.
