Properties
Description
Afatinib, soluble in DMSO and ethanol and insoluble in water, is a compound that blocks the activity of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), both of which are involved in driving the growth and proliferation of certain types of cancer cells. It targets EGFR, EGFR (L858R), EGFR(L858R/T790M), and HER2.
