Properties
Description
Eletriptan hydrobromide, soluble in DMSO and insoluble in water and ethanol, inhibits the signaling pathway between G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and G proteins. It targets 5-HT1B, and 5-HT1D.
Molecular Formula
C22H26N2O2S·HBr
Targets
5-HT1B: 0.92 nM (Ki); 5-HT1D: 3.14 nM (Ki)
Solubility
DMSO: 83 mg/mL (179.09 mM); Water: insoluble; Ethanol: insoluble
Stability
The product is stable for three years when stored at the recommended temperature in lyophilized powder.
Applications
Eletriptan hydrobromide can be used to research and develop therapeutic strategies for certain diseases that involve excessive activation of GPCR-G protein signaling pathways.
Storage
Store at -20°C, and keep desiccated.
