Properties
Description
FITC-CM-dextran is produced through a two-step chemical process where selected dextran fractions are first reacted with an activated carboxymethyl derivative in alkali to introduce carboxymethyl groups into the dextran chain, followed by the introduction of FITC groups. This product features an excitation maximum of 490-495 nm and an emission maximum of 520 ± 5 nm, making it useful for various fluorescence-based applications. FITC-CM-dextran is a high-quality product with a molecular weight of 4,000-7,000 and a degree of substitution of 0.001-0.020.
