Properties
Description
FITC-dextran sulfate is manufactured by selectively treating a dextran fraction with a sulfating agent, which is then labeled with FITC, and is supplied as a readily water-soluble yellow to pale yellow powder. It exhibits an excitation maximum of 490-495 nm and an emission maximum of 520 ± 8 nm. FITC-dextran sulfate is a high-quality product with a molecular weight of approx. 500,000 and a degree of substitution of 0.001-0.020.
