Heparin (abbreviated HP) is a medication and naturally occurring anticoagulant produced by basophils and mast cells, frequently used to prevent and treat blood clots. Heparin is functionalized with fluorescein and biotin groups. Fluorescein and biotin-conjugated heparin is a high-quality product with a molecular weight of 27 kDa, a high purity level of ≥95%, and a degree of substitution of 1%.
