Description
Hyaluronic acid (abbreviated HA), also called hyaluronate or hyaluronan, is an anionic, nonsulfated glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective, epithelial, and neural tissues. Hyaluronate is functionalized with fluorescein groups. Fluorescein-conjugated hyaluronate is a high-quality product with a molecular weight of 500 kDa, a high purity level of ≥95%, and a degree of substitution of 1%.
