Description
Centella asiatica is a herbaceous, perennial plant in the flowering plant family Apiaceae. Centella asiatica contains pentacyclic triterpenoids, including asiaticoside, brahmoside, asiatic acid, and brahmic acid (madecassic acid). Other constituents include centellose, centelloside, and madecassoside.
Centella asiatica extract was extracted from the whole herb of Centella asiatica. It has the functions of anti-depressive, anti-oxidation, anti-aging, healing and stimulating granulation growing, promoting repairing skin damage.
