Results: In this study, the researchers present the synthesis and characterization of QD nanoparticles modified using specific molecules and their application in cellular uptake. The researchers used a two-phase system and a combination of sonicated emulsions to prepare the biohybrid nanoparticles. Moreover, it was found that these synthesized biohybrid nanoparticles have the ability to be selectively targeted and delivered to specific cell types with good traceability.
