Properties
Description
Lupenyl acetate is isolated from Vernonia cinerea. It has been shown to have antiproliferative and antimicrobial properties, as well as anti-inflammatory activity. Lupeol acetate blocks the synthesis of diacylglycerol and sesquiterpene lactone by inhibiting p-hydroxybenzoic acid hydroxylase, which is an enzyme involved in lipid metabolism. This product can be used for studies of antiproliferative and antibacterial properties.
