Results: This piece of writing centers on the characteristics of magnesium gluconate in terms of its physical, chemical, and thermal attributes. By using spectroscopic and thermal analysis techniques, the researchers conducted an in-depth investigation of magnesium gluconate. Specifically, they investigated the properties of the compound in terms of molecular structure, crystal structure, thermal stability, thermal decomposition behavior, and thermodynamic parameters. Different analytical methods, including PXRD, PSA, FT-IR, TGA, and DSC, were employed in this study. Among them, PXRD analysis showed that magnesium gluconate is crystalline with grain sizes ranging from 14.10 to 47.35 nm. PSA analysis showed particle size distribution of d(0.1) = 6.552 µm, d(0.5) = 38.299 µm, d(0.9) = 173.712 µm and D(4,3). These discoveries hold significance in comprehending the characteristics and utilization of Mg(II) gluconate.
