Mice or Rat Transgenic Service

Excellent Mice or Rat Transgenic Service Rely on Professional Team

With the continuous development of glycobiology and genetic engineering, more and more Glycobiology Disease Models are widely used. CD BioGlyco has a professional development team to provide high-quality glycobiology disease model Development solutions. Whether you want to Custom In Vivo Glycobiology Disease Model, our researchers provide detailed customization, design, construction, analysis, and validation services.

CD BioGlyco provides various custom in vivo glycobiology disease model generation services for all your transgenic mice, mice embryo, and rat model needs.

  • Microinjection
    • Our researchers generate transgenic mice or rats by microinjecting DNA constructs or by microinjecting endonuclease reagents (e.g., clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat sequence (CRISPR)-associated protein 9-single guide RNA-single stranded DNA (Cas9-sgRNA-ssDNA) mixtures) directly into the prokaryotic nucleus of fertilized oocytes. The transgene is randomly integrated into a portion of the oocyte if the DNA constructs are injected. They are present in the mice or rat genome as one or more copies.
  • Gene-targeted transgene
    • CD BioGlyco provides professional transgenic mice or rat glycobiology disease models by gene-targeted transgene. our researchers target mouse embryonic stem (ES) cells at selected loci by introducing major loss-of-function mutations. manipulation. The transgenic ES cells are microinjected into mouse blastocysts and transferred to pseudopregnant recipient mice or rats. Moreover, we provide accurate modification of the genome through knockout and knock-in.

CD BioGlyco mainly provides the following transgenic model generation services:

  • Mice & Rat Regular Transgenic Service

CD BioGlyco provides high-level regular transgenic mice and rat glycobiology disease modeling services including transgenic vector construction, prokaryotic injection, and genotyping. Depending on the characteristics of the client's project, we introduce DNA into the mice and rat genome by retroviral approach, standard transgene approach, and gene-targeted transgene approach.

  • Mice Embryos Transgenic Service

CD BioGlyco provides reliable mice embryo transgenic services under the operation of professional technicians. We provide high-quality PCR genotyping strategies for mice embryo screening and construction of plasmid-based transgenic vectors. Moreover, our labs have many years of experience in plasmid injection, genotyping, and lacZ staining.

  • Mice & Rat PiggyBac Transgenic Service

CD BioGlyco provides high-quality mice and rat PiggyBac transgenic services including plasmid and vector construction, injection, expression, and characterization. The PiggyBac transgenic offers the advantages of higher integration efficiency, precise copy number insertion, and free removal of inserted fragments.

  • Mice PiggyBac Transgenic Embryo Service

CD BioGlyco uses special mice PiggyBac transgenic embryos to generate a custom glycobiology disease model in vivo. Our labs mainly provide PiggyBac transgenic strategy design, PiggyBac transgenic vector construction, PiggyBac transgenic pronuclear injection, and PiggyBac transgenic mice embryo screening services.

  • Mice&Rat PiggyBac-on-BAC Transgenic Service

CD BioGlyco provides PiggyBac-on-BAC transgenic mice and rat generation service including PiggyBac-on-BAC transgene design, modification, prokaryotic injection, genotyping, and screening. Notably, we provide BAC modification validation services through restriction digest and sequencing.

  • Mice & Rat BAC Transgenic Service

CD BioGlyco provides a one-stop solution for BAC transgenic mice and rat models including model design, BCA modification (point mutations, deletion or insertion of DNA fragments, etc.), BCA recombination, and BCA injection. The BAC transgene retains up to 300 kb of DNA, enabling the introduction of large genomic fragments.

Results: In this study, researchers overexpressed human Phospholipase A2 Receptor 1 (hPLA2R1) by cre-recombinase conditions to generate two new mouse models, NeoR-hPLA2R1 and Tg-hPLA2R1 mice. Through the steps of PCR amplification, cloning, sequence modification, construction of transgene vector, and sequencing, linearized transgene vectors were injected into the primary nucleus of fertilized oocytes and implanted into sham pregnant mice. Among other things, the NeoR-hPLA2R1 mouse model provides tissue-specific and/or induced expression of hPLA2R1-mediated excision. The Tg-hPLA2R1 mouse model provides universally induced hPLA2R1 expression. Overall, both models can be used for the mechanism elucidation of PLA2R1 action in inflammation, aging, and cancer in vivo.

Applications of Transgenic Mice or Rat

  • Transgenic mice and rat are widely used in the study of diseases such as cancer, metabolic diseases (diabetes and obesity), and neurological diseases.
  • Transgenic mice and rat play a key role in genetic engineering and metabolic engineering.
  • Transgenic mice and rat can be used to reproduce drug toxicity and develop novel drugs.

Advantages of Us

  • The PiggyBac transgenic model we offer has the advantage of a higher probability of expression of the target gene and greater insertion of the target fragment.
  • We offer DNA microinjection preparation of transgenic models with gene expression positivity rates more than two times that of conventional injections.
  • Our highly trained operations team not only provides customized transgenic mouse model development services but also includes PCR genotyping and validation.
