Properties
Description
Microorganism lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of microorganism LPS as low as 1.0 ng/mL and its detection range is 25-800 ng/mL.
Assay Principle
This ELISA kit for LPS is designed for laboratory research purposes only and should not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. The color change from blue to yellow is induced by the addition of the Stop Solution, and the intensity of the resulting color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. To determine the LPS concentration in the samples, a set of calibration standards is included in the kit. These standards are tested simultaneously with the samples, allowing the operator to establish a standard curve correlating Optical Density (O.D.) values with LPS concentrations. By comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve, the LPS concentration in the samples can be determined.
