Properties
Description
Mouse lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of mouse LBP as low as 1 μmol/L and its detection range is 6.25-200 μmol/L.
Assay Principle
Mouse lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit is used to measure the level of Mouse LPS-Ab in a sample. It works by coating the wells of a microtiter plate with purified Mouse LPS-Ab antigen, creating a solid-phase antigen. The sample containing LPS-Ab is added to the plate, and combined with an antibody that is labeled with HRP (horseradish peroxidase). This forms an antigen-antibody-enzyme complex. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added, causing a blue color to develop due to the catalytic activity of HRP. The reaction is stopped by adding a sulfuric acid solution, and the resulting color change is measured using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm. The concentration of LPS-Ab in the samples can then be determined by comparing the optical density (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve.
