Guanine is an organic compound consisting of a system of thickened pyrimidine-imidazole rings with conjugated double bonds, with the chemical formula C5H5N5O. Guanine is a purine derivative, a white to yellowish crystalline powder with strong UV absorption, and a component of guanosine and guanosine acid. It is used in the manufacture and marketing of guanine derivatives. It is also one of the basic components of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). Guanine is widely found in the animal and plant kingdoms. As a special substance, it has been successfully used in the preparation of anti-herpes medications such as acyclovir and pamprovaler ointment. In addition, guanine plays an important role in energy supply and metabolic regulation and also forms coenzymes.

Analyzing guanine from the point of view of the nature of the substance, it can be found that it is an organic compound of the purine class, which consists mainly of an imidazole ring and a pyrimidine ring. Therefore, when synthesizing guanine, CD BioGlyco offers several chemical synthesis routes.
In addition to the production of guanine, CD BioGlyco provides guanine application services. For example, the guanine we produce could be used as a raw material in research on antiviral drugs and antitumor drugs.
