CD BioGlyco provides premium plant GSL extraction services with advanced extraction methods and precise analytical tools. Our extraction services are applicable to a variety of different types of plants and employ advanced purification techniques to ensure the quality and purity of the products.
Generally, monosaccharide is the basic structure of a glycosphingolipid, such as glucose or galactose. The monosaccharide is linked to a ceramide molecule, which then forms a glucosylceramide (glucocerebroside; GlcCer) or a galactocerebroside (GalCer), respectively. GSLs are hydrophilic and lipophilic molecules, consist of hydrophilic oligosaccharide chains, and are linked to hydrophobic ceramides via glycosidic bonds. Ceramides can be classified as sphingosine bases and fatty acids, both of which are linked by amide bonds. The oligosaccharide chain module, sphingosine base module, and lipase module of GSLS all have many types of structural modifications, which form a huge family of sphingosine owing to their combination, with at least 100,000 species expected to exist in nature. GSLs are widely present in plant tissues, especially in the cell walls of plants. They play important functions in plant cell walls such as maintaining cell morphology, enhancing cell strength, and protecting cell walls from external environmental damage.

CD BioGlyco has established a variety of methods to provide customers with customized plant GSL extraction services. The service we provide include:
A liquid phase extraction service is the best choice to extract GSL from plants. At CD BioGlyco, we pay attention to every detail of GSL extraction and do our best to ensure that each step is completed to the greatest extent, as evidenced by many years of successful experience.
This service allows the extraction process to be controlled by adjusting the pressure and temperature of the supercritical CO2, thus making the conditions of the extraction process more controllable.
Our service facilitates the destruction of cell walls, increases the release rate of substances, and has higher extraction efficiency than traditional extraction methods. Moreover, compared with traditional chemical extraction methods, UAE protects the thermal stability and chemical properties of substances better and effectively avoids thermal damage and peroxidation.
