Properties
Description
Porcine lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of pig LPS as low as 1 ng/mL and its detection range is 25-800 ng/mL.
Assay Principle
Porcine lipopolysaccharide (LPS) ELISA kit is specifically designed for measuring the level of Porcine LPS in a given sample. To perform the assay, purified Porcine LPS antibodies are used to coat the wells of a microtiter plate, creating a solid-phase antibody. Next, the LPS sample is added to the wells, resulting in the binding of LPS molecules to the antibodies. The antibodies are labeled with HRP, forming an antibody-antigen-enzyme-antibody complex. After thorough washing, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells, causing the TMB substrate to undergo an HRP enzyme-catalyzed reaction, leading to a color change to blue. To terminate the reaction, a sulphuric acid solution is added, and the resulting color change is measured using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 450 nm. Finally, the concentration of Porcine LPS in the samples can be determined by comparing the optical density (O.D.) of the samples to a standard curve.
