Properties
Description
Rat lipopolysaccharide antibody (LPS-Ab) ELISA kit, an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, has the ability to detect levels of rat LPS-Ab as low as 1.0 EU/L and its detection range is 25-800 EU/L.
Assay Principle
Rat lipopolysaccharide antibody (LPS-Ab) ELISA kit is designed for laboratory research purposes only and should not be used for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. The Stop Solution included in the kit changes the color from blue to yellow, and the color intensity is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. To measure the concentration of LPS-Ab in the sample, this kit provides a set of calibration standards. These standards are assayed simultaneously with the samples and enable the operator to generate a standard curve correlating Optical Density (O.D.) values with LPS-Ab concentrations. By comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve, the concentration of LPS-Ab in the samples can be determined.
