Properties
Description
Rat lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit is an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative detection of rat LBP in samples and its detection range is 50-100 µL.
Assay Principle
Rat lipopolysaccharide-binding protein (LBP) ELISA kit is based on the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. Monoclonal antibodies against rat LBP are pre-coated on the enzyme-labeled plate. After the addition of samples and biotinylated antibodies to the plate wells, followed by washing with PBS or TBS, an enzyme-labeled avidin reaction is performed. After thorough washing with PBS or TBS, a substrate called TMB is added for color development. TMB turns blue in the presence of the enzyme and is finally converted to yellow under acidic conditions. The intensity of the color is directly proportional to the amount of the target factor in the samples.
