Properties
Description
Recombinant Bacillus cereus diacetylchitobiose deacetylase 14A produced by Escherichia coli, is responsible for catalyzing the hydrolysis of acetyl groups from polymeric xylan, acetylated xylose, and acetylated glucose. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Activity
Diacetylchitobiose deacetylases
Buffer
35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Bacillus cereus diacetylchitobiose deacetylase 14A can be used for glycobiology research. It participates in the de-esterification of diacetylchitobiose (GlcNAc2), N-acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc), triacetylchitobiose (GlcNAc3).
