Recombinant Bacillus subtilis N-acetylglucosamine 6-phosphate deacetylase 9A1 produced by Escherichia coli, is responsible for catalyzing the hydrolysis of acetyl groups from polymeric xylan, acetylated xylose, and acetylated glucose. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
