Properties
Description
Recombinant Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron β-L-arabinofuranosidase 137A & β-Glucuronidase 2A produced by Escherichia coli, enzymatically liberates l-arabinose from the l-arabinofuranose (araf)-beta 1,2-araf disaccharide and also conducts transglycosylation reactions on 1-alkanols while preserving the anomeric configuration.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Species
Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Activity
Arabinofuranosidases & Glucuronidases
Buffer
35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron β-L-arabinofuranosidase 137A & β-Glucuronidase 2A can be used for glycobiology research. It has the ability to hydrolyze rhamnogalacturonan II.
