Properties
Description
Recombinant Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron rhamnogalacturonan endolyase 9A produced by Escherichia coli, specifically cleaves the bond between 3-sulfated rhamnose (Rha3S) and either D-glucuronic acid (GlcA) or L-iduronic acid (IduA) in the marine polysaccharide ulvan. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Species
Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Activity
Rhamnogalacturonan lyases
