Recombinant Dickeya dadantii pectate lyase 9A1 produced by Escherichia coli, catalyzes the conversion of saturated and unsaturated digalacturonate into monogalacturonate and 4,5-unsaturated monogalacturonate-like molecules using a β-elimination mechanism. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
