Properties
Description
Recombinant Erwinia chrysanthemi exo-pectate lyase 9A2 produced by Escherichia coli, catalyzes the eliminative cleavage of polysaccharides containing a terminal α-guluronate group, resulting in the formation of oligosaccharides with 4-deoxy-α-erythro-hex-4-enuronosyl groups at their non-reducing ends. It is produced in Escherichia coli.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Species
Erwinia chrysanthemi
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Buffer
35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Erwinia chrysanthemi exo-pectate lyase 9A2 can be used in the research for the food industry and textile industry and participates in the eliminative cleavage of polygalacturonic acid (PGA).
