Properties
Description
Recombinant Lactobacillus brevis β-glucuronidase 2A produced by Escherichia coli, is a type of glucuronidase and is responsible for hydrolyzing β-D-glucuronic acid residues from the non-reducing end of mucopolysaccharides.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Species
Lactobacillus brevis
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Buffer
35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Lactobacillus brevis β-glucuronidase 2A can be used for liver detoxification and estrogen metabolism research. It has the ability to hydrolyze 4-nitrophenyl-β-D-glucuronide, and β-D-glucuronoside.
