Properties
Description
Recombinant Lactobacillus casei α-fucosidase 29A produced by Escherichia coli, is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of α-L-fucose-N-acetyl-D-glucosamine linkages in glycopeptides such as immunoglobulin G glycopeptide and fucosyl-asialo-agalacto-fetuin.
Expression System
Escherichia coli
Species
Lactobacillus casei
Purity
≥90%, determined by SDS-PAGE.
Buffer
35 mM NaHepes buffer (pH 7.5), 750 mM NaCl, 200 mM imidazole, 3.5 mM CaCl2, and 25% (v/v) glycerol
Applications
Recombinant Lactobacillus casei α-fucosidase 29A can be used for glycobiology research. It has the ability to hydrolyze fucosyl-α-1,6-N-acetylglucosamine.
