Properties
Description
Salbutamol sulfate (albuterol), insoluble in DMSO and ethanol, and soluble in water, inhibits the signaling pathway between G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and G proteins. It targets β2-adrenergic receptor, and β2-adrenergic receptor.
Molecular Formula
C13H21NO3·H2SO4
Targets
β2-Adrenergic receptor: 8930 nM; β2-Adrenergic receptor: 8.93 nM
Solubility

Stability
The product is stable for three years when stored at the recommended temperature in lyophilized powder.
Applications
Salbutamol sulfate (albuterol) can be used in preventing exercise-induced bronchoconstriction.
