Sales Manager, Glycobiology
Role Summary
We are looking for individuals who can positively drive the sales of glycobiology products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the sales of glycobiology products and services.
- Measure sales force productivity and ensure effective implementation of established strategies.
- Identify, nurture, and act on opportunities with both new and existing customers through outbound and inbound inquiries.
- Remove issues hindering the implementation of sales operations initiatives.
- Effectively coordinate sales operation activities with other functions including services, consulting, and market analysis, as appropriate.
- Collaborate cross-functionally for proper utilization of internal resources.
- Operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining focus and a customer-first attitude.
Basic Qualifications
- Ph.D. in biology or chemistry is preferred.
- An advanced degree in biochemistry, chemistry, or other related fields can also be considered.
- Demonstrated success in sales, sales enablement, and/or training, or with great potential for success in the sale of reagents and services.
- A strong entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative behaviors, and outstanding negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in a team selling environment.
- Experience in the glycobiology industry is preferred.
