Sisomicin sulfate is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that exhibits potent antibacterial activity. It is primarily indicated for diverse infections caused by gram-negative bacteria, particularly Pseudomonas, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, and Shigella. This class of medications exerts its effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, thereby impeding their growth and replication. Administration via injection is typically employed to manage severe systemic infections. CD BioGlyco offers comprehensive sisomicin sulfate Pharmaceutical Analysis Services, encompassing a wide range of professional solutions.

Results: This article compares the substance analysis methods of sisomicin sulfate injection, in which the HPLC-PAD method and gas chromatography are used. The advantages and disadvantages of these two methods are compared. The HPLC-PAD method has the advantages of high sensitivity, high accuracy, and good reproducibility, but it needs to use expensive instruments and reagents, while the gas chromatography method has the advantages of simple operation and good separation effect, but the sensitivity is low. The stability of sisomicin sulfate injection is affected by time, temperature, and humidity. The accelerated test results showed that different times, temperatures, and humidity had certain effects on the single and total impurities of the relevant substances in the three manufacturers. This shows that different formulations and production processes have certain effects on the stability of impurities in the preparation.
