Description
GS-9973, soluble in warmed DMSO and insoluble in water and ethanol, blocks the activity of spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk), a key protein involved in the signaling pathways of various immune cells and implicated in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases and certain cancers. It targets Syk.
