Rapid weight loss is a common symptom in cancer patients. Weight loss and changes in body composition are all manifestations of cancer cachexia. Studies have shown that the accumulation of visceral fat and cytokines secreted by adipocytes promote the glucose metabolic abnormalities associated with cancer cachexia. Excess adipose tissue can produce inflammatory cytokines, leading to the formation of a tumor microenvironment that promotes cancer progression. Data such as subcutaneous adipose tissue, visceral adipose tissue, and skeletal muscle mass can be monitored using magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. These data have been shown to be related to cachexia in cancer patients. Therefore, studying the relationship between body weight composition and changes in cancer glucose metabolism can bring new ideas for cancer diagnosis and therapy. CD BioGlyco provides mice body mass composition test services.

After the intervention of the glucose metabolism pathway according to the experimental purpose, the body composition of each group of mice was assessed by magnetic resonance imaging technology. According to the customers’ request, the body composition of the mice is detected every other day, and the change curve of the body composition of the mice is drawn after the experiment.
CD BioGlyco provides mice body mass composition test services. Our experienced teams of scientists, researchers, and technicians provide fast turnaround, high-quality services at competitive prices for worldwide customers. Our customers have direct access to our staff and prompt feedback on their inquiries. If you are interested in our services, please contact us for more details.
