1-Deoxymannojirimycin (DMM) hydrochloride is an inhibitor of N-linked glycosylation with antiviral activity. Derivatives of deoxymannojirimycin may have anti-HIV activity. It has been used to treat T lymphocytes, and to study Golgi-mediated glycoprotein processing.
