Glyconanoparticles have been widely studied and applied in protein and peptide delivery systems due to their easy substitution of functional groups, their abundance in nature, and so on. Among them, polysaccharides such as chitosan, alginate, cellulose, and related derivatives have been most studied as nanoparticle materials. Especially in the field of cosmetics, skin permeability has been improved and skin health has been promoted by encapsulating various biofunctional molecules (e.g., growth factors) and delivering them to specific sites. A good delivery system is needed to ensure a high embedding rate and good release ability. CD BioGlyco focuses on the cosmetic field and provides a one-stop service for protein and peptide-loaded glyconanoparticle formulation. We optimize the glyconanoparticle to ensure good release ability and a high embedding rate.
Our professional staff develops appropriate customized solutions and combines them with our comprehensive quality management system to deliver products that exceed client expectations. Based on our well-established GlycoNano™ Platform, specific services include the following:
Base materials such as chitosan and alginate are used to prepare glyconanoparticles. We select appropriate monomers, cross-linking agents, etc., and prepare them using appropriate methods to ensure high stability and encapsulation rates.
We optimize the formulation and synthesis process of glyconanoparticle to ensure the quality and good performance of the product. In addition to glyconanoparticles, glycol nanohydrogel has good applications in the delivery of active substances. We also prepare Glycol Nanohydrogel by Precipitation Polymerization, Inverse Emulsion Polymerization, etc., and analyze its application in the delivery of active substances such as proteins and peptides.
In the field of cosmetics, the properties of glyconanoparticles are closely related to many parameters, such as size, shape, and surface functionalization. Therefore, after the development of glyconanoparticles, we perform characterization services to assess the Physicochemical Properties and Interactions. The detailed characterization includes the following:
Combining the extensive experience and knowledge base in Glyconanoparticle Formulation, we evaluate the stability, function, deliverability, and safety of glyconanoparticles under simulated physiological conditions. Specific characterizations include the following:
Our services apply to a wide range of proteins and peptides, including but not limited to the following:
We understand our clients' experimental needs in detail and develop functional biomaterials with good biocompatibility for use in the cosmetic field.

Results: In this study, the researchers developed a nanoparticle that can be used as a stable delivery system, in which the use of carboxymethyl levan significantly increased the protein encapsulation rate. Characterization of the nanoparticles showed zeta potential and size of -19.1 mV and 199.9 ± 3.87 nm, respectively, and promising applications in skin regeneration and moisturization, among others. Human epidermal growth factor was loaded using the nanoparticles and the results showed that its activity was maintained over 100%. The analytical results indicate that the nanoparticles loaded with human epidermal growth factor can be used for cosmetic applications with high functionality, stability, and capture ability.
