The principle of thermogelation technology is to take advantage of the low critical solubility temperature (LCST) property of thermosensitive polymers. At temperatures below LCST, the thermosol remains in liquid form, while at temperatures above LCST, the thermosol forms a gel through a gelation process. By controlling the temperature change, repeated reversible transitions between liquid and gel states can be achieved. In thermogelation technology, a specific recognition ligand for the target molecule is usually added to the thermosensitive polymer solution to make it bind specifically to the target molecule. Polysaccharide conjugation reaction based on thermal gelation technology refers to the conjugation of polysaccharides with other molecules, proteins, or drugs, through the process of thermal gelation for applications such as modification, functionalization, or drug delivery of polysaccharides. The principle is mainly through a combination of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions, where substances with hydrophobic or charged amounts interact with polysaccharides to achieve polysaccharide conjugation.
