Thymine Nucleotide Derivative Production Service
Characterization of Thymine Nucleotide Derivatives
Thymine nucleotide, abbreviated as DTMP, has the molecular formula C10H15N2O8P. It is a type of deoxyribonucleotide (DNA) that uses thymine as a base. Thymine nucleotides are usually available in cells by enzymatic action of DNA or phosphorylation of thymine deoxyribonucleosides. Thymine derivatives are a class of substances obtained by chemical or biological changes in thymine nucleotides. They have a regulatory role in many basic biological processes and have different effects on the growth, development, reproduction, and heredity of organisms. Clinical studies have shown that thymine derivatives have therapeutic effects on inflammation, anti-tumor, and leukemia. In addition, thymine nucleotide derivatives are also useful in promoting cerebral phospholipid metabolism and treating traumatic brain injury and cerebral thrombosis.
Thymine Nucleotide Derivative Production Service at CD BioGlyco
Based on the important role that thymine nucleotide derivatives play in living organisms, CD BioGlyco has conducted a comprehensive study on the production and application. We offer serval methods for the production of thymine nucleotide derivatives.
- Chemical Synthesis
We formulate a specific synthetic route according to the structure of the target product, and at the same time, the synthetic route is continuously optimized to produce thymine nucleotide derivatives most efficiently.
- Biological method
The biological method can be divided into enzyme-catalyzed, DNA decomposition, and bacterial fermentation. In the process of this production route, it does not cause environmental pollution and has fewer by-products.
- Chemical-biological method
Based on the strengths of both chemical and biological methods, CD BioGlyco also offers production routes that combine chemical and biological methods to create more appropriate research programs for our clients.
Thymine nucleotide derivatives produced by CD BioGlyco are currently available for use as labeling precursors for positron radiography and as immune enhancers.
