  • Isotope-labeled thymine production services

Labeled thymine doping assays can detect a range of life activities such as bacterial growth and T-lymphocyte proliferative responses. Currently, there are four main routes for thymine production. All four methods have disadvantages such as long routes and inconvenient operation. It is more difficult to introduce isotope-labeled raw materials in some of the methods, resulting in difficulties in the production of the target products. We summarize the reported production methods and optimize the reaction to obtain isotopically labeled thymine.

  • Thymine modification services

Nucleoside analogs occupy an important position in the development of antiviral and antitumor drugs. However, drug resistance, clinical toxicity, and high catabolic sensitivity of viruses or cancer cells due to various reasons limit the function of nucleoside analogs. We produce novel compounds by performing regioselective substitution in thymine and adding methyl, etc. We aim to provide data to support the development of drugs with fewer side effects and greater activity.

  • 3'-Deoxy-3'-[18F] fluorothymidine (18F-FLT) production service

Tumor cells are characterized by rapid division and proliferation. Thymidine nucleoside can reflect the proliferation status. 18F-FLT is one of the most commonly used nucleic acid metabolism imaging agents to determine the proliferation of cells. There are several methods for the production of 18F-FLT. One of the keys is the selection of precursors. We automate the production of 18F-FLT by continuous optimization.

Applications

  • Optical modulation is of interest because of its non-contact and precise spatiotemporal controllability. Modification of thymine is used for the preparation of photosensitizers.
  • Thymine nucleoside conjugates are small-molecule anticancer chemotherapeutic agents with photosensitizing toxicity. Modification of thymine is used to develop antitumor drugs with fewer side effects.
  • Modifications of thymine have a crucial role in the production of novel antiviral drugs with fewer side effects.
